The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)

Our participation in the Great Commission brings us under Heavenly Authority. Is there a human pursuit that will echo louder in the halls of heaven than the conversion of sinners and salvation of the lost?
In Luke 17:21 Jesus said,” …behold, the Kingdom of God is within you”, thus making us Ambassadors of Jesus Christ and representatives of God’s Kingdom.
The Great Commission given to us by Jesus calls every Christian to step out in faith and spread the Gospel also known as the Good News. This can only be demonstrated by putting our faith into action! People who obey this command experience change in their spiritual lives forever!
As Ambassadors of Christ every faithful Christian is compelled through obedience to share the Gospel. If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, where has He called you to go? Who has God put on your heart to share the gift of salvation? What small or large steps can you take, with the knowledge and promise that Jesus will be by your side every step of the way?
My hope and prayer for 2020 is that we do not lose sight of the fact that it is all about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we are. Nowhere in our lives will we experience the love
and power of Jesus more than when we obey His commands as given in Matthew 28:19-20.
