버팔로 새소망 한글학교는 버팔로 새소망 장로교회의 부속기관으로, 버팔로 지역사회를 위해 한인2세와 외국인들에게 하나님 말씀과 기독교 정신을 바탕으로 한글과 한국문화를 가르치는 목적을 가지고 있는 비영리 교육기관입니다.
특히 미국에서 자라는 우리 자녀들이 하나님 말씀 안에서 한글을 배우고, 한국문화를 익히며, 하나님 나라의 귀한 사명을 잘 담당할 수 있도록 전인격적인 교육을 그 목적으로 합니다.
“Buffalo New Hope Korean School is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to serving the Buffalo community by teaching Hangul (Korean language) and culture to second-generation Koreans and foreigners, based on the Word of God and Christian values. In particular, our aim is to provide a holistic education with the purpose of enabling our children growing up in the United States to learn the Korean language within the framework of God’s Word, familiarize themselves with Korean culture, and effectively fulfill the precious mission of God’s kingdom.”
01. 학사일정 (Schedule)
가을 학기 : 9월 중순 – 12월 초, 매주 토요일 (12주, 1주 방학)
봄 학기 : 2월 말 – 5월 중순, 매주 토요일 (12주, 1주 방학)
Fall Semester : Mid Sep. – Early Dec. (12 Weeks, one vacation)
Spring Semester : End Feb. – Mid May. (12 Weeks, one vacation)

| 1, 2 교시의 한국어 수업은 한국 정부에서 발행된 교재 중심으로 각 수준에 맞게 한국어 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기, 듣기의 수업을 통해 한국어를 배웁니다. The Korean classes for the first and second sessions focus on improving Korean language proficiency through speaking, reading, writing, and listening studies using textbooks published by the Korean government tailored to each level. |

| 엄선된 인기 K-Drama를 통해 한국어 뿐만 아니라 한국 생활양식, 문화와 일상회화 등을 유용하게 배우고 적용해 보는 시간입니다. This class is for learners to indirectly experience and learn Korean language usage and Korean culture through scenes from popular Korean dramas. |
| 특활반 (Extracurricular) |
| 특활반은 한국문화를 배우고 체험해보는 시간으로, 여러 만들기와 노래 배우기, 연극을 통해 한국어를 배우고 경험하는 시간입니다. In the extracurricular class, students learn and experience Korean culture through various activities such as crafts, learning Korean songs, and engaging in drama, providing them with an opportunity to learn and experience Korean language. |
04. 반편성 (Class)
입문, 기초반, 중급반, 성인반으로 구성되며 수준별, 연령별에 맞게 반편성이 이루어집니다.

Classes are organized according to proficiency levels and age groups: Introduction, Basic, Intermediate, and Adult classes. Class placement is based on level and age. Class assignment may change after registration based on students’ proficiency levels.
