성만찬의 비밀 (고린도전서 11:18-34)

1. 현재와 (과거)의 연결 It connects the present to (the past)

(고전 11:23-25) 23 내가 너희에게 전한 것은 주께 받은 것이니 곧 주 예수께서 잡히시던 밤에 떡을 가지사 축사하시고 떼어 이르시되 이것은 너희를 위하는 내 몸이니 이것을 행하여 나를 기념하라 하시고 25 식후에 또한 그와 같이 잔을 가지시고 이르시되 이 잔은 내 피로 세운 새 언약이니 이것을 행하여 마실 때마다 나를 기념하라 하셨으니
(1Co 11:23-25) 23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

(츨 12:5, 8, 11-12) 5 너희는 이스라엘 온 회중에게 말하여 이르라 이 달 열흘에 너희 각자가 어린 양을 취할지니 각 가족대로 그 식구를 위하여 어린 양을 취하되… 8 그 밤에 그 고기를 불에 구워 무교병과 쓴 나물과 아울러 먹되 … 11 너희는 그것을 이렇게 먹을지니 허리에 띠를 띠고 발에 신을 신고 손에 지팡이를 잡고 급히 먹으라 이것이 여호와의 유월절이니라 12 내가 그 밤에 애굽 땅에 두루 다니며 사람이나 짐승을 막론하고 애굽 땅에 있는 모든 처음 난 것을 다 치고 애굽의 모든 신을 내가 심판하리라 나는 여호와라
(Ex 12:5, 8, 11-12) 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats, … 8 They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted on the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it. … 11 In this manner you shall eat it: with your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord.

2. 자신과 (하나님)을 연결 It connects your soul to (God)

(고전 11:26) 26 너희가 이 떡을 먹으며 이 잔을 마실 때마다 주의 죽으심을 그가 오실 때까지 전하는 것이니라
(1Co 11:26) 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

3. 개인과 (공동체)의 연결 It connects the individual to (Community)

(고전 11:20-22) 20 그런즉 너희가 함께 모여서 주의 만찬을 먹을 수 없으니 21 이는 먹을 때에 각각 자기의 만찬을 먼저 갖다 먹으므로 어떤 사람은 시장하고 어떤 사람은 취함이라 22 너희가 먹고 마실 집이 없느냐 너희가 하나님의 교회를 업신여기고 빈궁한 자들을 부끄럽게 하느냐 내가 너희에게 무슨 말을 하랴 너희를 칭찬하랴 이것으로 칭찬하지 않노라
(1Co 11:20-22) 20 When you come together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat. 21 For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal. One goes hungry, another gets drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not.

(고전 11:33) 33 그런즉 내 형제들아 먹으러 모일 때에 서로 기다리라
(1Co 11:33) 33 So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another

(갈 3:28) 28 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자유인이나 남자나 여자나 다 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이니라
(Gal 3:28) 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

4. 인생스토리와 (미래)의 연결 It connects your life story to (the future)
